Bayside Shopping Centre is a vibrant and integral part to the local community and because of this, businesses were required to stay open during completion of the works thus leading to a complex project. The overall Project will deliver twelve luxury Apartments, with eight commercial units and 152 car parking spaces.
Phase 1 of the works, a total of 1056m² was recently completed and included upgrading the existing residential and retail units comprising of improved insulation, new roofing, and windows, which lead on to the commencement of Phase 2, a total of 2550m² including demolition of existing buildings that was carried out with the utmost safety within a live environment to be replaced by a new ultra-modern mixed Commercial/Residential building with unrivalled views of Dublin Bay.
Adston adopted Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) implementing the Off- Site construction fabrication of completed Structural Insulated Wall Panels (SIP’s) from our own facility to complete the apartments for phase two. The Off-Site works were done simultaneously alongside the live site construction works, whereby upon completion of fabrication, the apartments were then transported and installed on site.
The commercial units consist of a state of the art Medical Centre, Office Space, Gym, coffee shop with outdoor seating, Crèche with an outdoor green area and a Major Retail Supermarket chain that will attract even more clientele to the area.
