Bringing all the facets of a New York bar and Italian style eatery to Dublin’s South Great George’s Street was no mean feat. A prime city centre site with a trading history required a complete re-imagining and Adston, working with O’Donnell O’Neill Design, brought that vision to life in NoLIta.

Adston as Construction Manager for the NoLIta project, was responsible for the complete removal of all the internal infrastructure in the building including all fixtures and fittings associated with the previous on-site business. Adston completed the total refurbishment and fit out, creating the full interior for NoLIta’s standout design.

Adston’s contribution to the award winning NoLIta was detailed. As construction manager for a project over two floors which now includes four bars, a dining area and outside space, we ensured that all work was carried out within an impressive three month period. This entailed working on a project on a busy city centre street and incorporated installation of large scale features and fixtures.

The NoLIta project featured a custom built pewter countertop and cocktail bar. It also included integrating metalworks and glass work with the marble features in each bar area. Mood lighting and a state of the art sound system were also installed along with bespoke fixtures and furnishings. The works carried out by Adston also entailed installation of a new mechanical and electrical system along with fire and smoke alarm systems.
